Delegate Patrick Hope Applauds Virginia Lottery Super Teacher Award Recipient Elizabeth Abraham Print

Arlington - Today, Delegate Patrick A. Hope (D-Arlington) joined representatives of the Virginia Lottery at Arlington's Science Focus School to honor 2nd grade teacher Elizabeth Abraham as one of the eight educators statewide to receive the Virginia Lottery Super Teacher for 2011.

 Delegate Hope said, "Elizabeth Abraham’s commitment and dedication going above and beyond is why we’re here today.  I cannot thank her enough for the enormous impact she is making in the lives of her students.”

Delegate Hope concluded, “Congratulations to Mrs. Abraham, Principal Mary Begley, and all the children of Arlington Science Focus School on this tremendous honor.”

The Super Teacher Award is sponsored by the Virginia Lottery, the Virginia PTA, and the Virginia-based The Supply Room Companies.  Each of the eight winners receives a $2,000 cash prize and an additional $2,000 credit from The Supply Room Companies for their classroom.

Patrick A. Hope is a Member of the Virginia General Assembly as the Delegate from the 47th District representing part of Arlington County.  He serves on the House Courts of Justice Committee and House Health, Welfare, and Institutions Committee.
