My top priority is defending Arlington’s federal workers from the random and illegal firings happening under the Trump Administration. To fight this cruelty and chaos, I am working with House leadership to call a special session of the General Assembly, and I have prepared two bills that would:

• Increase unemployment benefits to help those affected by layoffs

• Introduce new tax credits for businesses that hire laid-off federal employees
