I am committed to advancing equality, justice and respect for all individuals across the Commonwealth. On this issue:

• I proudly stand in support of the LGBTQIA+ community, including, in particular, the transgender and non-binary community. I will continue advocating for policies that uplift, protect and ensure full rights for all, with a steadfast commitment to defending transgender Virginians against discrimination and ensuring they have equitable access to healthcare, legal recognition, and safe, inclusive public spaces. 

 

• I will continue pushing for legislative changes that protect LGBTQIA+ individuals in areas like healthcare, employment, education and housing. This includes actively fighting to protect gender-affirming care, safeguarding the rights of transgender students, and ensuring that our Commonwealth remains a place where every person, regardless of gender identity, can live authentically and without fear of harassment.
